Meet Penny

I am a local girl,
born and raised in Sacramento. I attended parochial school and
went on to Sacramento City College as well as Sacramento State.
In 1987, when my children were entering elementary school, I
found my vocation in Real Estate. I worked for Lyon and
Associates and sold homes in my neighborhood in Land Park. I was
offered an opportunity to work for a new home builder and jumped
at the chance to build a neighborhood from the ground up. Over a
ten year period, I worked for several of the largest builders in
the Sacramento area. I still get a small thrill when I happen to
drive thru a neighborhood that I helped build.
In 1997, I was offered a sales position at Del Webb’s Sun City
Roseville. I didn’t hesitate to accept the offer as I had seen
Webb in Arizona and was bowled over by what they were doing. |

I had never worked for a builder who was so completely dedicated
to the idea of creating a stand alone community that provided a
county club atmosphere to its residents. We had a ball at Sun
City Roseville and are proud to say that we sold it out in a
record four years.
In 1999, I moved to the newest Sun City in Lincoln for the grand
opening in February. We had planned to be selling new homes
there for ten years. Lincoln Hills was another runaway hit for
Webb and will be sold out in a record seven years.
In late 2004, as the new sales program began to wind down, I
decided I did not want to relocate and work at another Sun City.
Lincoln Hills is so very special to me as my parents now reside
there as well as my aunt. I have hundreds and hundreds of
clients living in Lincoln Hills many of whom I consider friends.
I opened my company, Carolan Properties in November of 2004. I
have a full service real estate brokerage that caters
exclusively to Lincoln Hills. I so believe in the Del Webb
concept that I intend to spend the remainder of my career
helping people buy and sell homes in Lincoln Hills. I plan to
keep my company small, so that I can provide the high level of
service my clients have come to expect from me. Over the years,
I have been the recipient of many sales and customer
satisfaction awards. Honestly, the most rewarding thing to me is
when I have clients recommending me to a friend or calling me
for my services again.
